The Armenian Genocide: 100 Years Later

The centennial marking the tragic, illegal events of 1914-1923 and up to 1933 is upon the Armenian and Assyrian community in the Middle East, the Caucasus, and across the diaspora. Mourning ceremonies will be held across the U.S. and the world.

Candidate Obama said he would recognize the genocide, but President Obama has yet to do so. This centennial, we are asking the president hold to his word, and recognize the ethnic cleansing as a historical reality rooted in a deep body of evidence.
