Establishment Splits Vote in New Hampshire

Populists in, Establishments out! Trump and Sanders defeat opponents handily

The poor debate performance of Marco Rubio three days before the New Hampshire primary undoubtedly deflated his electoral performance in the Live Free or Die state last night. Without a clear establishment favorite gaining momentum in the lead-up to New Hampshire, the five candidates split nearly fifty percent of the vote, leaving the front-runner Donald Trump to dominate the results early in the night and now lead the delegate count two states into what looks to be a long battle ahead that could go to Cleveland. NH

In South Carolina, an establishment figure will have their best opportunity to emerge as the momentum candidate and keep populist Donald Trump and social conservative Ted Cruz from achieving 1,237 delegates and the nomination.
